Step by step

What happens at each step?

We cover the upfront costs at every step.

  1. Schedule notary

Once you've reviewed and completed the service agreement, your file specialist arranges a notary appointment so your claim documents are properly signed and notarized.

  2. Source evidence

We assemble the records that establish your right to the funds: typically government-issued ID, proof of current or prior address, and any relationship, authorization, estate or court documents that apply.

  3. Submit claim

Your claim or petition is prepared and filed with the institution or authority holding the funds, under the authorization you signed.

  4. Process claim

We coordinate directly with the holding party, answer its requests and keep you updated. Some matters resolve within a few months; estates, multiple parties or court review can take longer.

  5. Collect your assets

The funds or assets are released to you. Our fee is earned only at this point, as set out in your signed service agreement. If a matter can't be resolved, you owe nothing.

  1. Step 1 Schedule notary Document with a gold seal beside a calendar and notary stamp
  2. Step 2 Source evidence Folder of records under a magnifying glass beside an ID card
  3. Step 3 Submit claim Institution building behind an in-tray of sealed envelopes
  4. Step 4 Process claim Claim pages with a check mark, an envelope and an hourglass
  5. Step 5 Collect your assets Open secure box of documents with a check and a key

How do I get started?

If you have already been contacted by Euclid File Solutions, the first step is to review and complete the service agreement provided. This document authorizes us to act on your behalf and outlines the process clearly. Once the agreement and required documentation are received, a dedicated file specialist will guide you through the next steps.

What documentation is typically required?

Requirements vary depending on the nature of the matter. Common documents may include:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Proof of current or prior address
  • Relationship or authorization documentation (if applicable)
  • Estate or court-related records (if applicable)

Your file specialist will clearly outline what is needed and assist you in preparing the required materials.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the matter and the entity involved. Some cases are resolved within a few months, while others—particularly those involving estates, multiple parties, or court review—may take longer. We provide updates throughout the process and work diligently to move matters forward as efficiently as possible.

Is there a deadline to resolve these matters?

Each situation is governed by different rules and administrative requirements. Some matters may be subject to time constraints, while others are not. When applicable, we inform clients promptly of any relevant deadlines and strongly encourage timely completion of all requested documentation.

Can I handle this on my own?

In some cases, individuals may attempt to navigate the process independently. However, the requirements can be complex, time-consuming, and difficult to interpret without experience. Our role is to manage the process, reduce administrative burden, avoid errors, and coordinate directly with the appropriate parties on your behalf.
